Partnerships on Twitch?

I just looked at the minimum requirements for the PremiumPlus and VIP ranks on GommeHD and PremiumPlus said something about "affiliate partnership". What is it and when would you get something like that?

And when could you become a Twitch partner?

Twitch differentiates between affiliate and partner:

Who qualifies?

We're looking for streamers who aren't yet Partners, but who have at least
50 followers and over the last 30 days have at least
500 total minutes broadcast, 7 unique broadcast days, and an average of 3 or more concurrent viewers. This criteria may change as the program develops.

The Path to Partner is designed to help you track your progress towards being eligible to apply to the Twitch Partner program. The achievements are as follows:

Stream for 25 hours

Stream on 12 different days

Average of 75 viewers (concurrent viewership excluding hosts, raids and embeds)

As you can see, the affiliate requirements are a lot lower.
