Unfortunately, I have the problem when I stream and have my PS4 connected to the computer via an HDMI (capture card - not Elgato) and my headset is plugged into the controller, the sound in the stream does not work; people don't hear the PS4 sound, but I do. If I unplug the headset, you can hear everything - but I don't hear anything from the PS4. How can I transmit the sound to my computer via the HDMI AND via the headset (with cable to the controller) at the same time? I stream through Twitch Studios if relevant.
As far as I know, the PS4 transmits the sound either via HDMI or via a controller. But not both.
So you would have to buy a capture card that extracts the audio from the HDMI signal and leads it back to the headphones via a cable.
