When I want to buy my first headset and have asked

So what do I have to look out for?

How do I know if the sound is good. Before is it buy?

Do ears on the headset make it worse? E.g. Cats ears?

How can I see if the headset is snug on my ears?

can I buy a headset that can be used for the PlayStation and Switch? Because they have different plugs

Is a headset worth it if you don't have any friends who gamble with you?

and can I use a headset as normal headphones for my tablet?

and maybe there are good brands for headset with ears?

How expensive is a good headset that works for a long time and how do you keep a headset working for a long time?

how long headset 'keep on average?

Hi, I have had a Hyper X Cloud 1 for over 3 years and it still works extremely well today and has no impairments. So far I have been able to use it with everything Pc, Ps4, Ipad, Mac, Iphone… Since it comes with all possible extensions and adapters. There's also a synthetic leather and velvet attachment for different sound and comfort.

There's now a HyperX Cloud 2, which is definitely also mega good or a Bluetooth variant called Alpha. Personally, if not too cumbersome, I would still prefer cable to avoid connection problems and delays.

Even if you gamble without friends, it is worth using a headset for many games, especially shooters, because you can locate opponents at the steps much better.

Yo, what to look out for:

Frequency range. Makes the highs and lows, the Hz should be low, the kHz high.

By ears, do you mean something like the Razer Kraken Kitty? The ears are just accessories.

Does the headset fit your ears well? If over ear is always.

Nowadays every console has a jack plug, as does almost every headphone.

Yes, you can use your HEadset on your tablet.

No friends to gamble? We'll find some, or in-game voice chat.

Brand for headset with ears? Kp Razer has the Razer Kraken Kitty, that's all I know

How long it lasts depends on how you treat it

A couple of good brands:

Gaming:
Corsair
Razer HyperX Logitech JBL Roccat Steelseries TurtleBeach

Studio: Sennheiser Beyerdynamic Audiotechnica

First of all, every headset will have a jack plug, i.e. A normal headphone plug (I would definitely not buy a headset / headphones with USB because it has its own sound chip which is almost always bad, just as no 7.1 headset because 7.1 it is only simulated and you can do that easily with software. Since every device uses such a plug, you will be able to use it everywhere. Do you really need a headset (headphones + microphone) or do you also use headphones? Recommend the beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 ohm (these are the headphones that are used in almost every studio) because they are cheap and generally the best money can buy, they have them themselves and sound better than anything I've ever heard As a headset (if need be) I would recommend the Sharkoon Skiller SGH1 if it has to be cheap.

edit: you will definitely get by with the beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO for the next 5 years.
