How can you make money on Twitch? - 1

I would like to start streaming. I mean about 10 hours a week. I gamble anyway, why shouldn't I share the fun with others? Can I then earn money with followers or how much do I get from the subs? (Donations excluded) How much would I earn with an advertisement before the stream, i.e. With a true 1000 viewers?

I'm not really into advertising and monetization, but product placement is another aspect. (Always mark it nicely as advertising.)
