I've put together a gaming PC, which runs wonderfully and today I wanted to make a small stream for a few colleagues. Nothing wild. I also streamed Twitch with Twitch Studio on 1080p at 60fps. At least that was the plan. Because the picture was really jerky. I played Call of Duty Cold War.
Now to my hardware:
Amd Ryzen 3700x, Nvidia RTX 2080 Super OC, 16gb DDR4 3200mhz Ram from Viper, 500gb m2 SSD and 2Tb HDD.
CPU has an AIO on its head, i.e. It does not get hotter than 75 ° C even under full load. GPU also only 72 ° C.
Where is my problem?
Hm, I would now spontaneously tap your internet line. How fast is it, what is the utilization? Wi-Fi or cable connection?
If the stream stuttered, but not for you, it is 100% due to the internet connection. If it was jerky on both sides, I would also tap the Internet connection, but there could also be other reasons.
Have a gigabit line. Downstream via LAN arrive 980mbit and upload 55mbit.
Lan cable, gigabit. 50mbit upload
Maybe you still have a bottleneck here somewhere. The hardware of your PC seems to me to be more than sufficient, the problem may be with the router, check there to see if there are any drops in performance.
Have you tried again at another time?
So.
Was it just your game that didn't run smoothly or was the stream just stuttering?
With the hardware and the internet connection, this should be due to your settings.
What did you set? The stream would run in your place on the CPU, software encoder x264, CBR, "fast", profile "Main". In addition Lanczos as a downscale filter
Do speedtest whether you can reach the internet values.
Or did i have Bluetooth devices on it?
Yep, changed the settings, changed graphic settings in game. Now it's going perfectly
Optimal, then have fun!
There are no more, the gpu has nothing left for twitch studio. Games in wqhd on 144fps or because of 144hz and in ultra setts. I reduced everything a bit, now it's going great.
Yes, 980mbit arrive.
Nope, just my wireless headset
Was due to the attitudes. The GPU was at the limit, Twitch studio used more vram than was left. Changed the game sets, now it's up and running.
That's why my stream always sucks on the CPU.
Which cpu do you have?
Thank you.
