Hello,
I would like to connect my Victure AC600 4k Wi-Fi camera to my PC.
Should I do it by cable, if so which and which connection or with Wi-Fi and how does it work?
I want to use it for Skype YT and Twitch.
The can connect via MiniHDMI to HDMI cable to a Camlink, for example, which you then plug into the PC.
There's a camlink like this By Elgato.
For this you need, for example, a CamLink (various brands, I only know Elgato personally) → Connect your camera with one (Mini-HDMI, meißt) and the CamLink and this with your computer, then you can use Skype, Twitch, etc. A video source select ("name of the CamLink") and then you can use your Actioncam on your PC!
Additional tip: If you only want to transfer your SD data to the PC, a data cable (micro usb, mini usb or an SD card reader) is sufficient
CamLink (Elgato): https://www.elgato.com/de/gaming/cam-link-4k
Thank you! Since my GrafKA only has an HDMI connection, something like that is the right one. I will get it from Elgato and then a MiniHDMI to HDMI cable.
Uh that's expensive… Does MiniHDMI go directly to USB?
No, that's not possible, because you need an encoder (i.e. A video card) so that your computer recognizes your camera as a video source, i.e. Connect Mini-HDMI to the CamLink → via USB 3.0 (nothing with your graphics card, it only outputs your picture, at least if these are HDMI-Outs.) There are other Elgato CamLink alternatives, which are a little cheaper, but I have no relation to!
Or another HDMI to USB connector must be Elgato's
Where do I put the Camlink in? Does the USB connection matter or a specific one? *
When I buy a normal webcam with a USB plug, I don't need anything anymore, do I?
No, that is also much cheaper, unless you want to stream with a camera or action cam on your pc, then you need a camlink!
As I said, I don't know anything about it, I only know the Elgato Camlink.
I see it but to spend a 129 euro for the Elgato: /
