BUFFER 900 mbits Donwload anyway?

I have an average of 900 m / bits. Tested with 7 different speed test sites and always different servers + a "normal" ping of around 15.

Despite all of this, YouTube and Twitch are still buffering.

I'm connected to LAN.

Firefox, Opera and Chrome. The pages buffer everywhere.

What is possibly wrong?

What does buffering mean anyway?

Of course, they buffer the video / stream before you can see it. Nothing is displayed directly. Either on the RAM or a file is first loaded then played, then reloaded and so on.
