Youtube / Twitch Music Copyright?

I plan to take off with Youtube and Twitch and music plays a very big role in my opinion. But then the question arises whether I can use every song without any consequences? Of course, without any intention of making money or anything like that, as I only want to do this as a hobby.

It depends on how the copyright owner protects their music.

If he offers these for free (non-commercial) use, you can use them in the video as long as you do not monetize the video.

If he does not offer this for use at all, you are not allowed to use it at all.

I also had to deal with music copyright on YouTube just a few days ago. So I know that some copyright owners release their music for non-commercial use.

I'm a little content creator too, and I'll be honest: I don't care about these guidelines. 99.9% of the time I will be claimed which means that I can't earn any money but I will not be banned. And then everything is fine. You know NCS for sure, it is also copyright. The advertisements with "No Copy Right Sounds" claim anyway. And still with jellyfish information. Well The best thing to do is to download songs and upload them that are not listed and if you run into problems you can delete the file again.

I know that there are specially licensed playlists for Twitch at least, I think on Spotify. A friend of mine once said that. Google the best time!

Thanks for the answer. Is it possible to look up which artist is not offering his music for use or is partially offering it?

All good ^^

Hm… At least I don't know a list or no way to check it.

Sometimes this doesn't come out until the video is uploaded, when the video is reviewed. It then automatically searches for matches with copyrighted content.

However, there could be licensed playlists that only contain usable music.

Nice that I'm being approached without being the questioner xD

But yes, mostly it has no consequences other than demonetization.

Oh oops xd
