Hello I've been puzzling over whether I should buy a 1100 euro gaming PC or the Xbox Series X for 500 euro.
After Christmas I saved about 1100 euro and currently have a relatively poor PC with a Gt640 with which I can play games like League of Legends etc. But no new games or graphics more demanding games.
I just want to play new games like cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing and really cool graphics (my dream)
A PC is of course twice as expensive, but in the long run it is of course not as expensive as a console (I know that the Xbox Ultimate will be free for 2 years) and, above all, games often cost a lot more than on the PC.
In general, I've always been a PC fanatic or I've got used to it, although I still have a Ps2 / 3/4 that I've never used as much as my PC.
I have a 144hz 1080p monitor from MSI
I would like to know your opinion on this topic and what you think of it.
Ps: I'm happy to answer any questions.
PC, no question. You can also use it for everything else, and for 1100 you get a decent part.
I would make that completely dependent on what you want more, for me it would be / is clearly the PC.
I dare to doubt whether the console will cost you more in the long run, although the games often cost more, but on the PC you have higher acquisition costs. If so, it balances out somewhere.
Which is also a question that should be answered is what your friends are playing with whom you gamble with. When everyone is playing on the PC and you come around the corner with a console… Then you look into the tube.
The big advantage of the PC is the flexibility, if you like to play on a controller, a PC doesn't prevent you from doing that, most games also support that.
You have actually already answered the question with the words you are a PC fanatic if you value the advantages of a PC and are already familiar with it, I would always advise you to use a PC because the follow-up costs are lower, i.e. Xbox Live and PS Plus for the others because of the diversity right now when graphics cards sink so you should get something clever for 1100 euro to 1500 euro I think there for example To the 3070 or 3080
My recommendation beats your heart for a PC then stay away from a console unless it is additional
Edit: the RAM prices are in the basement, the graphics card prices are pretty much in the basement would be a good time for a PC
Yes, my friends have "crazy" PCs and we mostly all play on the PC, but at the moment we only play League of Legends and one of them wants to get the xbox series x and the other has an xbox one. But I was told the Microsoft Crossplay likes and therefore offers a lot of crossplay so that shouldn't be a problem, right?
In any case, the PC is a universal genius
I'm sure I still have gamer for 1100 on hold

You can keep the setup and distort it (change)
Happy to answer questions
Professionals don't know an xbox. PCs only.
X-Play has the bitter aftertaste that you come into a lobby with PC players. This is a "problem" especially with shooters because only really experienced console gamers can keep up.
I would never take X-Play as an argument in favor of a console, a PC simply offers too many advantages over a console for that. If two of your friends switch to console and the others stay on PC, then I would also stay on PC and include the others if necessary and if possible via X-Play.
X-Play is not available in all games, so keep that in mind.
Couldn't a 3070 with an R5 3600 be built into a cheap b550 motherboard, an A2000 Nvme Ssd 1Tb still have a 1Tb Toshiba hard drive, 16Gb G skill ram and a 600Watt power supply in a good case or do I have problems with the power supply?
So the 3080 has 320 watts, then that would have to go with the 600w.
Nothing speaks against your changes, no objections, but it won't get cheaper
I meant the 3070 which has a TDP of approx. 220 watts is enough then a 500 watt Psu or should you take a 600 watt for the future?
600W protect the fan, I would also make sure that the dBA remains below 30 because of the noise development
