Connecting an external Xbox one hard drive to the Xbox Series S?
My question is whether I have this Xbox one hard drive: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/seagate-xbox-game-drive-game-pass-special-edition-2tb-externe-festplatte-6364915
to my Xbox Series S and can use it to save my games on it and play over it. Since the official memory expansion of the Xbox Series S and Series X, cost up to 250 euro / francs.
That works, but only for backwards compatible games, i.e. Xbox one, 360 or Classic. You can only save the Series X / S games on the official memory expansion
That wouldn't make much of a difference right now, would it? Since there aren't that many games for the Xbox Series S / X yet. Or?
I'm not sure right now, but the current games appear for one and series, right? Then I think you always play the Xbox one version of the games that are graphically worse than the series version
It is exactly the same.
That's right.
However, some exclusive titles are only released exclusively for the Xbox Series consoles.
See, for example, The Medium, which probably wouldn't work on the Xbox One at all, which is why there's no Xbox One version.
