Xbox 360 Red Dot of Dead?

I need your help and I wanted to play my old Xbox 360 again… Unfortunately that did not work, because my Xbox has booted up but a red dot in the middle of the on / off button has indicated.

what could it be? In addition, I had to buy a new power supply (see picture). In that case, I bought the cheap version… Could it possibly be synonymous s.der power supply?

I assume you have an Xbox 360 Slim. Red here can mean either that no video cable is connected or that the hard drive is not properly seated. Of course, there's no Red Ring Of Death coming from around.

Red ring of death is so bad. Believe me, you will need a lot of time to repair… Buy a new xbox 360 for about 30 euro. You can sell the old one for 15 € for a craftsman
