Hello short and easy my controller fell down and my RB button popped out (see picture) I popped it back in, but it is very unstable and wobbles around a lot. Can someone explain to me how to fix it completely or what the problem is?
Maybe unscrew the controller and pinch the button inside.
Would be good but how do you open the one are there screws hidden?
Under the cover there are 5 screws, for these screws you need a torx screwdriver, believe size 8.
Exactly.
I found a tutorial for you here quickly
Thanks for your support, I'll try it out tomorrow.
To open it you need special Torx (Torx-TR) bits, otherwise it won't work. These Torx have an additional pin in the middle (i.e. The screws), the bits have a hole accordingly.
It's over.
Unscrewing won't help you. The two bumbers are connected to each other by a plastic bridge. If this is broken, a bumber pops out.
There are various providers who have replacements on offer, but I've never tried that.
Has only happened to me once so far. If you still have a guarantee you can contact Microsoft. They exchanged mine without hesitation. It was more of a goodwill than a guarantee.
Otherwise a new purchase will help.
