I wanted to try to connect my Xbox controller to the PC but every time I want to connect it the Xbox button only flashes when I hold it down and when I release it stops blinking.
The connection button on the front of the controller does not work at all or the Xbox button does not flash quickly when you hold down the connection button.
I have already updated the controller and it works with cables, but I bought the controller so I don't need a cable.

Only the controller is not enough if you want it wireless.
The 2 version of the Xbox controllers can also connect to the PC without the need for the adapter because I already have one I know that it can't be because of it.
