Xbox gamepass current offer termination?

Hello there's currently the 3 month xbox gamepass on the xbox for 1 euro. Can I buy and cancel immediately, so I can stop the extension immediately, so that I don't have to pay the extension for 13 euro per month but only 1 euro for the 3 months, does anyone have more specific experience of the current offer?
