Since my 360 controller is no longer working properly, I have pre-ordered the new series controller for use on the PC. It arrived today, but I can't use it. Windows 7 can't find a driver, and I can't find one manually in the Microsoft Update Catalog. The web address xbox.com/accessoires-app is specified in the Quick Install Guide for the controller, but this page does not exist.
The controller was only released as a bare version today. It is also available on Amazon with a wireless stick for Windows 10 and a 2.7 m long USB cable for Windows 7 and 8, but only from November 19th. Available. Since I have enough USB cables myself, I pre-ordered the bare one and already ordered it today.
I'm afraid that the drivers won't be available until the 19th, does anyone know more about it?
You could try downloading the Xbox Accessories app from the Microsoft Store.
Driver updates can usually be downloaded there.
I could if I had Windows 10.
There's a dualshock 3 and 4 driver software: scptoolkit
What does dualshock have to do with it
Please update to Win10!
Xbox 360 controller… Head on
Dualshock is sony
I definitely won't do that!
How come.
And Xbox compatible (the driver)
In front of everyone I only said what it was made for first… IT ALSO SUPPORTS XBOX
This is an Xbox Series controller, not a Playstation DS3 or DS4 …
