Xbox One controller rechargeable?

I now have a controller that runs on batteries. But I think that's a lot worn out. Are there no wireless controllers that can also be recharged, are there only those with cables without batteries?

And what I'm also interested in: Are all Xbox controllers compatible with the Xbox One?

Only Xbox one and Xbox Series controllers are compatible with Xbox one and Xbox Series.
