I wanted to connect my xbox to my monitor that has no hdmi connection. I then ordered a small dvi hdmi adapter. When he arrived today I immediately connected the xbox to my monitor, then I briefly saw this xbox logo and then it said "no signal". I checked whether the plug is too loose or the HDMI cable is properly inserted, but that's probably not the reason. It would be very nice if someone could help me.
I think the resolution of your monitor will be too low.
The XBox probably can't handle that. Should at least have FullHD. HD is easily enough, but if the monitor doesn't have HDMI, don't know

Okay… And then no HDMI connection?
Who knows why it doesn't work then I don't know either
