I have found my CD Konvult collection again and now I want to play the games on my PC again. Does it even work I don't want to break anything because I'm afraid that my PC and the CD will break.

Neither the PC nor the disk will break when you insert an Xbox / PS CD. It just can't be read as it is quite a format that must be read.

Co

The CD goes in, but you can't play anything.

Since the PS2 there have been no really good, working emulators either. Which is really bad for the PS2.

PS3 doesn't exist as an emulator anymore.
And only an emulator could do something with the CD, Windows would be stupid. Whereby the BluRay discs need a corresponding BluRay drive anyway.

You won't break anything if you put a CD in there from a console, but you can't play it either… Sorry

At most, the computer will recognize strange files on the CD, but no one except the console can do anything with them.

You would need an emulator for this, but this is only available for the PS1.

Of course, nothing breaks.

I once saw a PS4 emulator on YouTube that worked perfectly! (Best performance, 60 FPS, no stuttering, no bugs). But the guy also had a very good PC!

Of course, console games only work on the respective console! What a surprise… Nothing happens when you plug this into a PC
