I recently had to order a new hard drive (the new one is a Seagate) because the old one was broken. I installed the Seagate this morning and pulled the software onto the Playsi as normal via a stick. So far everything worked until I noticed that the console went out independently 2-3 times today, so I didn't notice that I wasn't there. However, have set that they must not go out. I just noticed that the hard drive beeped and the console turned off before my eyes. I expect the hard drive to be damaged, but the Playsi can still be switched on as normal if I connect it to the controller with a USB cable, without any crackling noises as I know from the defective original hard drive and without beeping. I just noticed when I want to start an installed app, the hard drive beeps once, by the way the TV goes black and the TV no longer recognizes the Ps. The blue light on the controller shows me that the console is still on, I can't do anything right now. I hope someone has a logical answer or can help me somehow, that confuses me a bit. I can't imagine that brand new hard drives from Sony Defekt will be delivered and will not be damaged by the transport, because the hard drive was packed very securely. The only thing I can still imagine is that the hard drive is not installed exactly, the bracket of the hard drive was bent slightly, but first everything went somehow
Wait until ps5 comes out. Do you have Fortnite on ps4?
Open the PS4 and take a look at the hard drive and the mainboard.
