I have a current gaming PC (actually work PC) that is just 4 months old and cost me over 4,000 euro, but I still have a PS4 Pro and an XBox One and play with them a lot more than on a PC. It's just a completely different, much chillier flair.
And especially if you have a PC, an XBox (with gamepass) makes perfect sense. For example, after finishing work in the office, I like to play an hour on the PC before I have dinner with my family. As soon as the children are in bed, I continue to play the same game with the same savegame (thanks to Gamepass Ultimate) from the sofa. And if the TV is still busy, I continue to play it on the smartphone via the XCloud until it is free.
