Windows 10 on relatively old PC?

I have a question for all computerspezialisten.Weil the support for Windows 7 ends soon and I like to switch to 64 bit (and stream from the Xbox to the PC) I want to buy Windows 10. The catch is: My PC is relative alt.ich I have the device manager can't elicit much except the CPU, an INTEL (R) Core (TM) 2 Duo with 3.33 GHz. The pc is pretty fast with Win.7 and on it also games with better graphics run well and smoothly. Now I wanted to know if Windows 10 would make my PC noticeably slower and if so, if you can ergentwie end.It does not have to be an Ultra NASA PC, but on him games should be fluently playable, from me even on not highest level graphics. I know there are very few info about the PC.Sorry

So a Core 2 Duo should be enough for Windows 10, otherwise you need 20 GB of memory, better 30-40 GB of memory, and a minimum of 2 GB RAM for 64 bit. The graphics unit is relevant for gaming. The best way to open the Direct X diagnosis with the culture name "dxdiag" (without quotation marks) via the command prompt (Win + R) or just below in the Windows search box

Windows 10 64Bit also has drivers for very old processors.

If you pack an SSD to the Core 2 Duo and at least 4GB Ram are installed, Windows 10 should not be a problem.

Especially the SSD is a useful upgrade that speeds up your system very much, I've even tried it with a similar system.

4GB RAM for Windows 10? This is a bit over the top ^^

OK thanks. I searched the video card in the device manager, but did not find it. I'll try it that way.

Many Thanks. I have read that 64 bit only 2 GB Ram need, but I can be wrong.

I'll do that with the SSD.

So ned bad that I have only 16 GB running?

I have Windows 10 running on a now almost 12 year old Dell Inspiron 6400.

The part has 4GB Ram a dual core with 1.8Ghz and a 1 gig graphics and a 250GB SSD

… And runs perfectly…

Has worked, at least I think that is the name of the graphics card. It is called: ATI Radeon HD 5670

Okay, what do you want to play? The hardware is relatively old and true at that time only middle class. CSGO you will probably still be able to play well, but otherwise it will be hard, except of course 2D games that should run without problems.

Since your whole system is probably outdated, I would actually change the whole PC, if you really want to play. Otherwise just a SSD in and everything runs smoothly again, except just 3D applications

Do

Well, so currently things like Guild wars 2, Smite, grim dawn, etc. Very good. So most games are running quite well. Nice Warhammer would be forgiven.

Do

What exactly does 3D applications mean? Can I then play no games in 3D?

Po

What you can play right now, you should be able to play with Windows 10, as well. But elaborate 3D games will not work! Already Overwatch or Fortnite gets heavy in 1080p, Far Cry 5, Battlefield, Assasins Creed and you can forget that!

Do

OK thanks.
