Red Dead Online no players (Xbox)?

I have been playing RDO on the Xbox since today, but I'm permanently the only one in the lobby and can't find or see any other players… Have I adjusted something or why is that?

RDO is no longer played by too many because the developers are not bringing out any new content. In other words, the game is dead.
