Xbox ping too high but not on pc. Why?

Have looked at an hour before the xbox settings and there was my ping higher than 180. When I did a test on the pc, but was a low number → 7.
Why is that?

A ping basically tells you how long a packet takes to get to a destination server and back. Now the question is exactly what you have now pinged with your PC, because a comparison is only really useful if you anpingst the same goal.
Can you also rule out that your XBox is not connected via Wi-Fi, or that your PC or other clients may just consume a lot of bandwidth?
