I have disassembled my Xbox One S and e.g. I exchanged thermal paste afterwards, put everything back together, screwed and connected to the power. I also made sure that all power cables for the respective components are correctly connected and firmly in the holder. Now, however, I have the problem that there's only a clacking noise from the power supply. Otherwise I had a humming sound and the Xbox worked. But now, as I said, it is the said noise and it no longer comes on.
Do you have any ideas how I could get it back? Was also considering simply ordering a new power supply.
If the Xbox makes a noise when you turn it on, it's most likely not the power supply. I recommend you screw it back on and put it back together, maybe it will work again.

If you are unlucky it is broken and you can't request a replacement because you opened it yourself and as you know the guarantee does not apply
I can understand, it has already happened to me. In the stupidest case, I would recommend you get the new Xbox.
