I bought a new xbox and wanted to ask whether it is worth getting xbox live or game pass.
These are 2 different things, with Game pass you get a certain number (I think 4) for free per month, but you have to pay monthly, you need Xbox live to play with friends / online
You have 100 ever-changing games to choose from with gold only 4
And if you take Gamepass Ultimate, gold is included
Note that gold is definitely required for multiplayer
The Xbox Series S which I got myself makes sense even with only this gamepass.
Correct.
Same for me. Without gold / gamepass you have absolutely no options.
Uh.
You get about 100 games for free and Xbox Gold is included.
Xbox Gold is standard, everyone has that, but you need Xbox live to be able to play online and I didn't know about the game pass, I don't have one
Since when has payment become standard? You can also use the Xbox like this.
I don't have the Game Pass myself and still know it.
Correction:
Xbox Live is Standard (Free)
Xbox Live Gold is an extra to be able to play online (for a fee)
Did I say Xbox Live is not free?
There's no better because both are different services.
Xbox live Gold, like PS + on the Playstation, is required to be able to play online. This is payable either as a subscription at a price of 6.99 per month and includes, in addition to the live service, 4 free games every month as well as exclusive discounts in the store or as a prepaid card in stores with a limited validity.
The Gamepass, in turn, is a game catalog with over 200 partly changing games that you can play in full as long as your subscription is running. This not only includes small or older titles but also allows all exclusives to be played permanently from the launch. There are also discount campaigns for purchases, usually before a game is removed from the pass and replaced with another title. The games from EA Play have also been included since November 10th and after the company's purchase, all future Zenimax / Bethesda games will also be available from the start. The gamepass also costs 9.99 a month as a subscription. It is also available in stores as a prepaid version with a limited duration.
But you get the best deal with the Gamepass Ultimate. In addition to the Gamepass for 9.99, this also includes Xbox live Gold for 6.99. On top of that, you can stream all included games on your Android smartphone, either via an Internet / WLAN connection or from the console via the home network. In addition, there are always small gifts for selected titles. All of this costs 12.99 a month and is also available in stores as a prepaid version.
No:-).
Still only as a small correction. Because I think the guy with the whole numbers made a mistake or he had a mistake in reasoning
C:
I agree.
