I created a recovery file earlier. I would like to reset Windows to this, how do I do this?
I want to do this because I was watching a tutorial where someone installed many different AntiSpy programs and set them up accordingly. Now I have the problem that the pre-installed Xbox console accompaniment no longer works.
I have created a recovery file from the current version, like my windows now.
Can I now reset windows to the old file and later back to the current one?
Open the start menu and look for "Control Panel".
Select the "Security and Maintenance" item under the "System and Security" category.
Click on "Restore" in the lower right corner and then on "Open System Restore".
Wait a moment for the system restore to be loaded and confirm with "Next".
Select the desired restore point and confirm again with "Next".
The system restore is started with the "Finish" button.
Now do nothing on the PC and wait.
