PS4 won't allow system software to be updated or reinstalled?

I need your help…

My young son activated initialization mode on the fourth PlayStation. After that he wanted to cancel it by pressing circle, but this didn't work. Desperate, he pulled the plug and canceled the mode. The PS4 no longer started.

It started in the safety mode and it said: "The PS4 can't start. Connect the DUALSHOCK 4 with the USB cable and then press the PS button."

Here I clicked the PS button.

Then another text appeared: "Connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for the reinstallation for version 8.03 or later. You can download the update file for the reinstallation from playstation.com."

Here I installed the file and copied it to 3 different USB sticks with the PS4 folders and inside with the UPDATE folder.

If I did this I was able to do the update and after restarting the PS4 the exact same screen came up.

After several attempts, and all of them failed, I thought about reinstalling the system software.

Then I installed the file from the official PlayStation website with a size of approx. 1.07GB and clicked on "Initialize PS4 (reinstall system software). Here, however, it emerged that the file was damaged. Again, I tried it on 3 different USB sticks and failed everywhere. Strangely, I can use the file in the system software update, but after it was uploaded it also said that the file was damaged.

Here I'm at the end and I've run out of nerves. I followed all the steps on the Official Website correctly and visited many other websites as well, but it was not helpful.

Yep, I find it disastrous that nothing gives you the opportunity to get everything working again

First of all, great praise for putting so much effort into it.
If you still have capacity and a bit of know-how, you can expand the disk and format it manually or install another 2.5 inch disk. Maybe that will lead to success?
