How do I transfer my score?

Have a little problem here.

I have just installed Battlefront 2 on my PC via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Unfortunately, my entire game save is gone, even though I'm connected to the same Xbox account as on my Xbox Series X via EA.

Are there any possible solutions?

St

Have you used the win "app" called Xbox Gaming or whatever it is called?

Because as far as I remember, the straight line should be responsible for it and not the game itself

Ke

🙂Hello Michael,

the Xbox gaming app no longer exists, or it was simply renamed "Xbox".

I installed the game via the EA Launcher, as this is the only way to get the EA PLAY titles through the Game Pass

St

Day.

Well, then I have to pass now, because I've never dealt with it any further

I'm sorry

pa

This only works if the game is a Play Anywhere title and Battlefront 2 is unfortunately not, so it will not work.

Ke

Anyway, thank you for your reply.

Just think it's a shame.

I'm ready in Battlefront 2. And now I'm supposed to win again with everything.

St

You can certainly transfer it, just like no plan

maybe someone here has a clue or take a look in the EA forum

Je

Can't be broadcast as it is not a "Play Anywhere" title.

Ke

Play Anywhere or not. Xbox Game Pass games are basically all Play Anywhere games

pa

No, unfortunately they are not, there's a list of games that are Play Anywhere. Got to check it out, and Battlefront 2 isn't there.

Ke

And what year is it from?

pa

https://www.xboxuser.de/spiele/play_anywhere currently

Ke

OK. You're right there.

pa

You just have to google the games where you want to know.

pa

Feminists would now say that means answerer haha.

Okay, joke, thanks for the addition, somehow I didn't even think about it being possible with Minecraft, my mistake.

Ke

Thank you for this comment. Would be great if you could write an answer to the question. Because I can't nominate a helpful answer at the moment, because no answer could help me.

Since I was asked to give a perfect answer here, which should be relatively correct, in order not to trigger any subsequent misunderstandings, I would like to give the following answer regarding this question and general score synchronization between console and PC:

Most common games that exist on almost every platform often do not support game synchronization, which is commonly known as the cross-progression feature.

Especially EA games like here, the Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) unfortunately does not allow game status synchronization / transfer, to no system at all.

However, there are also games that also support this, primarily F2P games such as Fortnite, Dauntless, or Rocket League.

Above all, Play Anywhere games, i.e. Games that you buy in the MS Store on either a PC or Xbox, but then have them on both platforms when you buy them, support game synchronization by default.

But there are also some games that you have to buy multiple times on multiple systems, but these also allow game status synchronization. That would be Minecraft Bedrock, (TP, Skins, Addons, Mashup Packs, full synchronization between almost all systems, limited to PS4) or Halo: the Master Chief Collection regarding the stats. In some rare cases it is even possible with games on external platforms, e.g. The game Forza Horizon 4, which has recently been on Steam and has to be bought there individually (the game is available 3 times, 1 time for Xbox, and 2 sometimes for PC, once MS version and once the Steam version) that you can synchronize your data from the Xbox.

Then we also have games that only offer limited cross-progression, which for example allow one-way game status transfer, games like Phantasy Star Online 2, or Warthunder are 2 examples.

So, I hope I haven't left anything out of this answer…

Ca

Sure, I can give you another answer that arranges the whole thing correctly.

Ke

Thank-you!
