In the middle of the game, I suddenly noticed a change, the vibration subsided.
With the "Xbox Accessories" app from the Microsoft Store, only the motors behind the triggers vibrate, i.e. Above. As far as I know, however, the Xbox One controller has FOUR, so there's still one motor in each of the two handles.
Can you confirm that if you e.g. The app Used for your controller?
I don't know if I'm just imagining it, but I suspect a defect in my controller…
I'm just super insecure, because the controller still vibrates at least partially.
Incidentally, I updated the firmware, which unfortunately made no difference.
Hope for a lot of feedback, thank you!
The lower motors are then probably defective.
So do the handles vibrate noticeably?
Unfortunately for me it was in the middle of the fight against a monster in Monster Hunter World.
For me it is unfortunately "bad" because the vibration gives good feedback. Both positive if you e.g. Doing a lot of damage or negative if you lose a lot of life. Depending on the strength of the attack, the controller vibrates differently and I look for my life indicator or not.
Games are certainly playable without this vibration, only I've got used to vibration feedback for the last 8 years of my life and I don't want to do without it anymore.
Thank you very much for the quick feedback! (I didn't count at 4 in the morning) … I wish you a nice rest of the week!
PS: Are you making Fornite videos on YouTube?
Unfortunately I don't have an XBox controller myself, but if there are motors from which I start and they no longer vibrate, it will probably be a hardware fault. It sounds like you've been using the controller for a few years now - that's where it happens.
I wish you a nice rest of the week.
I don't do YouTube videos, no
I have been using the Xbox One Wireless Controller for almost 2 years now.
Before that I had the Xbox 360 controller for 6 years.
Incidentally, I came up with it because I was looking for Kurix on YouTube, because of your name. That's when I first came across these videos!
Now asked stupidly. Could the batteries be empty?
mine also gradually stop vibrating when the battery is empty.
Hm, of course that's stupid, but it can happen.
I had a YouTube channel with the name almost 5 years ago, but it doesn't exist anymore. I also wish I could change my name here because there are a lot of people who then become irrelevant and insult me for any other line on YouTube
I should have written.
I checked the batteries beforehand, were still at about 50% and inserted fresh ones. Unfortunately without success:/
