Every time my Wi-Fi stick smears or there are malfunctions at Unitymedia, I can no longer log in because I then have no Internet. (Because the PC always wants to log in with my Xbox / Microsoft account). So annoying. How does it work?

You have to set up an account on the PC, a so-called "offline" account.
