I play Minecraft Console Edition on an Xbox one and it has been lagging extremely strong for about 8 days!
What I noticed is that the lag only occurs in my survival world and 95% of the time with autosave but about 5% just like that!
The lag was still weak at the beginning, very seldom 0.5 second freeze frame but now there are about every 3-5 minutes 3-5 seconds freeze frame!
Yesterday I got the message that the cache was almost full, then I emptied my cache and now I don't get this message anymore!
Unfortunately that didn't change anything with the Schlimmen Lags and I'm slowly starting to worry if everything is okay with my Xbox one.
But the WORST happened only yesterday: I paused the game and from the particles I saw that it was Really paused, after which I went away for 15 minutes.
When I came back the game was running normally even though the menu screen was still there. It was even night and I saw 2 creeper holes and I only had half a heart!
Since yesterday I've been really scared of pausing the game and leaving!
Another important thing: the world takes up a lot of memory! Here is a picture there you can see how much!
I hope someone can help me because I really want to just play normally again!
That can be due to too many worlds, or to too full a memory. If they only come now and then, it's simply because something wasn't loaded.
Ok, I only have 8 worlds and I have already checked the memory of my Xbox one, but there's still more than enough space!
Check times whether you have the latest version
Not from Minecraft but Xbox one system!
Then I would update mc
Well… I want to continue playing in the outdated version because I don't like the latest version of Minecraft that much! Is there still a possibility where it can be attached?
No, then it can only be due to the outdated version. The bedrock is designed to run only on the latest version. The only possibility would be to lower this render distance
Bedrock? But I play on Console Edition!
That's the same now. There's only Java and Besrock left. Switch, Cell Phone, Xbox, Play Station, Google Stadia, Nintendo 3ds, etc. It's all Bedrock
Ok… Maybe I'll think about playing the newest version after all!
With pleasure
Unfortunately I'm only a Playstation player, but there's an option called "Rebuild Database". This cleans the PS4 of all unnecessary data and can often work wonders when it comes to stuttering / frame drops.
Maybe there's the option with the Xbox too? Just google it.
