New Xbox controller?

Hi, I bought the new Xbox controller today because I needed a new one and the old ones are no longer for sale

only now I have the problem that I just can't get the controller connected to my Xbox (Xbox one s)

I really don't know what to do and I don't have a cable either, because you need a special one for the controller and of course they didn't pack it with the controller

Your "specific" cable is a simple USB Type C and standard for almost all mobile devices.

Since your controller can't be connected, I suspect a defect. To rule that out again a manual.

Briefly press and hold the pairing button on the console until the Xbox logo flashes quickly. Also hold down the controller briefly until the logo flashes. The rest will go by itself.

Alternatively, use a mobile phone charging cable and look at the console for an update for the controller.
