Xbox V2 Elite Controller on Ps4?

I want to get the Xbox V2 Elite Controller, but it doesn't work on the Ps4. I have already informed myself, but the option to get the Brook Adapter is too expensive for me.

The signals of the individual consoles are the same, since there's also standard hardware installed. The driver for the other controller is simply missing in the operating system of the console. Why should Sony have it, because that would only damage their own sales figures.
