I know, my question came here more often, but I may have a small special case.
I have a FritzBox 7560 with 1&1 as a provider, which works most of the time on impeccable. In very rare cases where I can't find a pattern, unfortunately, the Internet is suddenly blocked for all devices in the house - you can still connect to the FritzBox, but you can't get into the net. A short plug pull solves the problem, but unfortunately it happens again and again - and whenever I'm online with my PS4.
As I said, this happens so seldom that it does not pose a serious problem. Unfortunately, my new Xbox One S does not like the FritzBox: If it is on the Internet, it often comes to said lock, but the time seems to be arbitrary. I brought the Xbox to friends and logged into their internet - there I did not have the problem. Port shares for the Xbox brought unfortunately also no success.
So the question: What is it and what could help? On my PS4, this phenomenon is not a real problem, but the Xbox can therefore always remain just for updates on the grid and not be used for permanent online operation. And I just do not find any regularity behind the problem - it just happens someday, no matter if it's the PS4 or the Xbox.
I thank you for all the answers.
What about the other devices in the network, they also have no Internet?
If so, maybe you have disconnects?
If so, then you can slow down the performance a bit.
Yes, the internet is also blocked for the other devices. The FritzBox makes the network access completely tight.
As I said, this happens so seldom
That could be a temporary overheating of the Fritz box. Check whether the location of the FB is not too warm, the ventilation slots of the FB are free and sometimes hold the vacuum cleaner to the ventilation slots.
Then I type in disconnections
I'll check that, thanks for that. Unfortunately, it does not explain why I fly with the Xbox very often from the net and trigger the lock.
You should also check the events (log files) of the box, but before you restart the box!
On the other hand, you probably will not be able to do anything on my part, right? It could explain, however, why the FritzBox gets along with my PS4 most of the time, with the Xbox but not at all.
You open your browser enter Fritz.box and then the following tabs: Internet → DSL information → interference
This page for configuring the FritzBox is known to me, but just because "page not found". The box is currently in the Internet-locked state, I'm currently using a smartphone access point. Have the straight error? Maybe I'll try that tomorrow again.
Update: I briefly plugged the FritzBox again and plugged. Everything works again, I can also access the configuration page. Before that did not work, which means that I can't look at the logs with the events.
