For months I have had problems with internet connections via the WLAN of my FritzBox 7270. It started with the fact that some devices (FireStick, for example) were not able to connect to the WLAN anymore or were simply 'thrown out'. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to connect with password input and WPS button I dodged the devices on my guest network - which has worked immediately.
However, a few weeks later, several devices, both in the guest and in the regular WLan, although a stable wireless connection, but the access to the Internet is blocked or extremely slow. There are no locks or restrictions in my FB configuration that could cause this.
My PC completely refused to connect to either network. Only when I switched the box and PC of WPS2 on WPS encryption (was only an intuitive attempt) it was suddenly again. The problem continues to occur, more or less randomly, on one of my cell phones or the Nintendo Switch or on all devices simultaneously. Times I have Internet, sometimes extremely slow, not at all - despite Wi-Fi.
PC and wired TV multimedia computers always work perfectly. I have already set fixed IPs and reset to DHCP, access passwords changed (of course, synonymous with the connected devices), removed all devices in the Fritzbox and of course performed various restarts. The WLan channels are also trouble-free.
I'm grateful for your ideas. Alternatively - my plan C - I have to Use a separate Wi-Fi access point. Even more cables… Plan D would be a reset of the FB factory settings.
Think that you have too many devices connected to the network
I have the 7490 and I had identical problems. Twice has been exchanged, since number 3, I have no more problems.
How many devices are in your opinion the box zuzumuten? I'm very sure, I already had more and without any problems. Normal are 3 Connected (2 phones and FireTV) are optional 2 computers (one of which is wired), a switch and a tablet added. However, the devices are never on or active at the same time. I can't imagine.
Thanks anyway
PS: By the way, the box itself always has a stable internet connection…
Have you installed any lead blocks or placed the router elsewhere because your device number is not really high.
The 7270 is a brilliant router. He came out when I sat in 2007 at the 1&1 Technikhotline. Many new software points. There were the 4 Lanausgänge still the smallest plus point
First, often helps (unfortunately is not in the question) a generous power reset. And really wait. Drinking coffee, evnt. Ne cigarette or something that lasts longer and ensures that the rest of the power is really out. Mind. 1 minute
Does not help Put it back and start over. If that goes through since, respect.
I organized an extra in November 2018. Stupidly, then the DTAG tariff 50,000 price equal to 16,000 and the professional failed. I'm forgiven, I'm out for health reasons.
