XBox One Controller no longer connects to my PC (cable)?

It always worked, because the cable is a bit short, it only packed around sometimes when I move too much.

But now suddenly he no longer connects. It vibrates once and then nothing happens. When I press the "X" on the controller, it lights up as if it wanted to connect (ie on, off, on off, …,) but nothing happens.

Oh yes, the operating system is Windows 10, if that is important

The most obvious thing is: have you tried another cable?

am

Exactly the same: it vibrates but does not light up and can't use the controller. When I press the Xbox button, exactly the same thing happens

I can remember that I used to have the same thing, and then I finally died down. But I don't remember exactly how I did it, except that I also replaced the cable. Have you tried another USB port?

am

Yes, tried everything, after I restarted my PC, it worked again. Then after a while the same thing.

Then I would say that your controller has a shot or the connector has a wobble. You can't do anything about that. But to make sure I would borrow another controller and try it out.
