Hi, I have a rather mediocre PC (i3 and rx 570) on which not all games run well. Now I might have thought of getting a powerful console and using my PC only for office tasks. My question now is whether an Xbox one is enough or should I rather spend a little more on an Xbox one x? (The new generation is out of the question because that would be too much unnecessary power for me that I can't use on my TV anyway) For example a game that I would like to play but my PC is too bad is Forza Horizon 4. So I want now not necessarily play with what feels like 8k but just a console that can display more or less new games on full HD to 4k.
Your PC seems much better to me than the Xbox one.
I would rather change the processor because you have more of it than buying an Xbox
What kind of television do you have? I recommend the Xbox Series S. It costs little and is ideally suited for "normal" TVs. Depending on the application, it has a little less power than the Xbox One X, but it belongs to the latest generation and will be useful to you until the next generation of consoles in about 8 years.
Also, I don't know where the One X should be available. Production has been discontinued for a long time, and if you buy it as second-hand, you have no guarantee.
The Series S is also readily available, while the PS5 and Series X are in short supply.

In what way?
The Xbox one has about 30fps or 720p 60fps for some games, so the Rx 570 is definitely not worse
Your graphics card has significantly more power than an Xbox One - it is already very close to the Xbox One X. All you should do is upgrade the processor
