Yes, the Xbox will be backwards compatible. You can even use the Xbox One controllers. Only the rest is nonsense.
Most pretty sure. You don't have to buy games produced by Microsoft again, the version for OneX is free of charge when you buy one. It's called Smart delivery. Microsoft would like to offer this to all other game manufacturers as well, so it's only up to them if they use it.

The One X plays all One games no matter whether One, One S, One S All Digital or One X. It's the same console, a one stop.
The Series X, on the other hand, is a new console but, like its predecessors, has backward compatibility. Especially since all new games with the release of Series X must also run on the One, according to Microsoft's statement.
