I recently got GTA 5 for Epic and now wanted to continue playing with my progress from Xbox, the only problem is that I'm forced to link my social club to Epic and my Xbox progress will not be carried over. Is there somehow a way to adjust it so that it takes over the Xbox data?

One game, one separate account
Since players used to modded on the Old-Gen (PS3 / Xbox 360) and then transferred the account to the New-Gen (PS4 / Xbox One / PC), this function has been removed. This means that you can no longer transfer the account. Of course you can play with your Social Club account, which is connected to your Xbox account, but you have to restart the online mode.
So it is generally not possible to transfer your game progress via the Social Club link? I had read it like that.
