Well, a long time ago I had the data carrier on the PC, I then formatted the data carrier for the Xbox, but after a few years where I no longer play the Xbox, I don't want to let the data carrier go to waste and use it again for Only use the PC there's a hook, the problem is the data carrier is recognized on the PC but not as a data carrier but as something there's "Expansion" on it for devices Setting how I can format the data carrier for the PC. I'm really on the line, is there software that can format the data carrier so that it is finally recognized as a normal data carrier for the PC again?

lo

Is it displayed correctly in the device manager? (Any exclamation marks?)

Pointless photo btw.

You could have saved yourself the comment, as I said, it is displayed in Device Manager on the name Expansion.

lo

Ahh, all right. I haven't heard "expansion" as a term.

And does it not appear in the disk management?

You could try deactivating and reactivating the device in the disk management, (but works rarely)

As described, it doesn't appear there ^^

lo

You can most likely do something in the device manager, uninstall and reinstall (or whatever it's called), for example.

La

Have you already checked whether the plate is displayed / recognized in the BIOS?
