I currently have one. Sennheiser GSP 600 which is absolutely not suitable for multiplayer because I sometimes don't hear a certain sound like footsteps by opponents and you can always hear me breathing into the microphone despite low mic monitoring and foam cover.
I'm looking for a headset that is also suitable for the Xbox Series X and, above all, has surround audio. It is important that I can fine-tune it and that there's software for it. Heard most Asus headsets have something like that. I'll be using it mostly for multiplayer. In terms of price, it would be fine for me up to 250 euro but shouldn't cost more. Does anyone have recommendations for me or can I help?

I would advise against the Astro A 50. Overpriced with questionable quality, as well as the Steelseries Arctis 9X which not only sounds weak but also produced a serious software error twice. The Arctis 7X or the A 40 with Mixamp may be the better choice here.

I used the Arctis 9X myself and was extremely disappointed with it for the price. 200 euro and not even a blade cable, even USB type C or a noice canceling microphone.
As I said, two broke within six months.
Apart from the poor sound, it was at least light, comfortable to wear and had a long running time.
I'm absolutely satisfied with the Stealth 700 and at a lower price.
