Couple on Minecraft server (xbox one s)?

So I'd like to play with my brother on our Xbox One s for two on a server (The hive + mineplex). If we want to connect the second controller then there's "split screen not available." Does anyone know how I can handle this? Otherwise, it is also available only on servers, it will not work and many others play as a couple: /

Because you can't play on servers in split-screen with two of you. You can't handle that.

You need a second Xbox.
