Xbox Server down or what?

I can't log in with my profiles and when I want to reconnect to my WLAN, this happens:

Yes xbox live is scraped off around 9:15 pm. Online does not work, MP does not work and playing digital games does not work either. Xbox is dead right now.

That can happen, servers are not infinite ^^. The best thing to do is wait and if you like and it happens longer, the best thing to do is to contact Microsoft and ask how long it will take.

What is it supposed to mean? Xbox live was completely down what else should it mean? It was down between 9:15 pm and just before 4 am. Worldwide as I could read this on Reddit. The burden was by no means small. If several flushers from all over the world reported that Xbox Live was dead, then I was probably right with my answer. That shouldn't be a hate against Microsoft. I wanted to suggest that NOTHING was running on the Xbox between the above times. Nothing.

Such shutdowns can't be prevented. It was clear that it would also happen at Microsoft one day. What is certain, however, is that this was a big one-off case, which should not serve as an example, that Microsoft did somehow bad work, because that is simply not true (not related to them).

At Sony, for example, there are such cases very often, due to the constantly overloaded Sony servers.
