I want to buy Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, a USK 18 first-person shooter, for my XBox on Monday.
Unfortunately, my main account has a USK 16 age limit, in other words: I can't buy or access games that are over 16.
Since COD AW is 18 and older, the following question:
As I said, I can't get it from the Microsoft Store because of the limitation. But I have an idea: what if I buy the game on Amazon, I have a DVD.
Does the age restriction react to it anyway? Because, it's not downloaded, just a disc: it shouldn't actually recognize that, should it?
I ask so extensively because if the age restriction detects this and it doesn't work, then I can't play the game and it would be a waste of money.
But you overlook the fact that you have to identify yourself personally for a USK 18 article.
Otherwise, I do not think that any technology is applied to the medium that activates something on the XBOX.
Because of that yes:
So that I don't have to identify myself, I buy it from the Microsoft Store.
But if you say so, nothing can happen.
