The software reports: "Update required", which is not true. MS support is at a loss. Controller Xbox Elite is not configurable.
Funny. So with me the controller runs without problems. Do you have Windows 10?
The controller is not the problem. The software "Xbox Accessories" is not running.
Funny I have no problems. How did you say Win 10 or 8 / 8.1?
Win 10 (version 1809, build 17763.316)
What does not work? On which version is the firmware? Is there an error code in the error message? All WS updates installed? Is the software installed on the system drive?
Except for the message "Update required" there's nothing. No mistakes! (Version 1809, build 17763.316). Purchased from MS on 13.02.2019.
Have you ever uninstalled the app app and downloaded it from the store? Then the newest version will be automatically downloaded.
Or look at "Apps & Features" the Zubehörapp, "Advanced Options" and
there to "reset".
You want to use it on the PC?
At the console it requires an own app for the configuration.
Six times. With two controllers. Always from the store. Tested by MS-Support via Teamviewer or something.
PC.
And at "services" is everything that has to do with Xbox?
What would it be? Following (4) is running: 1) accessory management service, 2) authentication manager, 3) network service, 4) save games.
There was also the xbox Game Monitoring service, but m.E. Is not necessary for that.
Soo, pour out the remaining approaches:
rate1:
In the MS Store on… (More Info) → Downloads & Updates »→« Get Updates »
approach2:
-On PC Settings → Update & Security → Troubleshooting → «Find and Fix More Problems:» → «Windows Store Apps» → «Troubleshoot»
Ansatz3:
-Try it with disabled AV program and disabled WS-Firewall.
Ansatz4:
Open the cmd as administrator and enter the following 2 commands:
Powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$ ($ _. InstallLocation) \ AppXManifest.xml"}
Ansatz5:
Perform a clean restart. As?:
https://support.microsoft.com/...in-windows
Ansatz6:
Open cmd as administrator and enter the following 5 commands one after the other:
sfc / scannow
DISM / online / Cleanup Image / CheckHealth
DISM / online / Cleanup Image / ScanHealth
DISM / online / Cleanup Image / RestoreHealth
sfc / scannow
Approach 7 and thus the last one on my part:
When searching, enter "UAC" and try it with the 2nd to 3rd highest level.
Thank you. I prefer to do without Microsoft's "Xbox accessory" and Microsoft's hardware.
Do you have this connect-thing or cable?
I tried first, if it goes by cable. Since it did not work, I ended the experiment.
Is the PC recognized as "unknown hardware" or something?
No. Everything great. Only "Xbox accessories" do not want.
