Today I wanted to connect my PS4 controller to my Razer Blackwidow Elite keyboard as normal and play fifa with it, but now my PC recognizes the controller but it just lights up orange once and the xbox controller emulator does not recognize it. It is only with my keyboard that when I connect the controller directly to the PC it works.
Due to the detour via the keyboard, your computer will simply not know exactly what to do, but the USB ports on the keyboard are also intended for this, e.g. Connect a USB stick to it. Connecting peripherals to other peripherals… Gives better solutions.
It may be that it worked once and it will probably work again if you reinitialize the software or even reinstall it. However, it is still advisable to connect such devices directly to the PC (on the back of the MB) because this way you can easily establish the most stable and fastest connection.
If the whole thing still has to run via an emulator, the emulator just won't recognize where the controller is connected, then it is not necessarily the software from Razer but rather the emulator that is just garbage.
