Are there actually xbox games that work online without xbox live gold?

I have an xbox tomorrow and have 2 questions to all those who have an xbox one

- are there games that you can play online without gold if yes which ones?

-I have the backward compatibility version of bo2 on the one… At 360 was online gambling for free is this also free for one?

Theoretically yes, at least then everything was so. Luckily for a long time a lucky PC player because of this rip-off. XD
