Microsoft, Xbox, orgin (EA), Steam, Discord and Google
Gmail is recommended.

On Google you can enter your new email as a contact email. But it's not the primary address for them.
As with a change of provider, that you can take the phone number with you, a change of provider does not work.
Because with gmx the ending is gmx etc.

You can't take "my-mail-address" with you if this address is already taken.
Changing the mail provider is generally always possible. The only restrictions arise when you sign a contract. You can use the new provider immediately. However, the old email address will only be deleted when the contract has ended.
