Voice Chat enabled by default?

For some time now I have an Xbox one s and play e.g. GTA Online, Rainbow six victories or Battlefield 5 with normal inear headphones, is the voice chat then activated automatically or is it disabled by default?

Should be activated by default. But it depends on the game. Otherwise, there's still the Xbox Party
