I always play with my friends on the xbox with the headset. I played again today and I did not hear any sound. Have tried the headset vei my phone where it went then. Now I wonder if perhaps the controller is to blame.
1. Restart the Xbox completely
2. Test your controller with a headset on the PC or, of course, best of all on another console. (Result: Do you have sound is the problem with your Xbox)
3. Try another controller (maybe a friend) on the Xbox with your headset. (Result: If you have sound, it is on the controller)
